Modern-day glass technology has mechanized many parts of the glassmaking business. However, Boyd Glass still manufactures the old-fashioned way, with a man and a mould, and not with an automated machine. Visitors are welcome to tour the Boyd factory and learn how this ancient art is being preserved. Glass is made Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The showroom is open until 4 p.m.
